Doha: The Police Academy, represented by the Police Officers Institute, celebrated the graduation of participants from a series of mandatory and specialized training courses conducted during the first half of 2026.
The ceremony was attended by Major General Dr. Abdullah Yusuf Al Mal, Legal Advisor to HE the Minister of Interior and General Supervisor of the Police Academy, alongside several officers representing participating security and military entities.
During the first half of the year, the Police Officers Institute organized 34 mandatory and specialized courses involving 650 officers from various security and military agencies.
The training programs included the Intermediate Officers Course, the First Officers Course, the Weapons and Marksmanship Course, and the Infantry and Weapons Instructors Preparation Course. The academy said the courses reflect its commitment to developing specialized professional competencies and enhancing practical and operational skills in line with the highest approved training standards.
The ceremony also featured a documentary film highlighting different stages of training and qualification, in addition to honoring distinguished participants and entities that contributed to the success of the programs. Certificates were also distributed to graduating officers.
