Berlin: Qatar’s Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya), HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, met with Federal Minister of the Interior of the Federal Republic of Germany Alexander Dobrindt during His Excellency’s visit to Germany.
The meeting focused on bilateral cooperation and ways to further strengthen and develop relations between Qatar and Germany, particularly in the security sector. The two sides also exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual interest.
Following the meeting, HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani and his German counterpart signed a letter of intent between the two interior ministries on security cooperation, covering areas including training and the exchange of expertise.
The agreement reflects the two countries’ commitment to enhancing security cooperation and sharing knowledge and professional experience between their respective interior ministries.
