Doha: The Police Academy, represented by the Police Institute, celebrated the conclusion of a series of training and specialized courses for the second quarter of 2026, attended by HE Legal Advisor to HE the Minister of Interior, Major General Dr. Abdullah Yusuf Al Mal, General Supervisor of the Police Academy, along with several department directors and representatives from security and military entities.
During the second quarter of 2026, the Police Institute organized a range of specialized training programs involving 683 trainees from various security and military entities across the country, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen operational readiness and enhance professional competencies.
The programs covered a wide range of fields, including commando training, diving, rapid intervention, inspection, cybersecurity and rapid response, in addition to promotion and advanced qualification courses conducted in cooperation with specialized international training institutions.
The ceremony included the honoring of outstanding trainees, while graduates performed a military parade accompanied by the musical band. Attendees also witnessed field demonstrations and simulations of security and protection operations that highlighted the trainees’ advanced readiness and professional capabilities in line with modern training standards.
Following the ceremony, guests toured an accompanying exhibition dedicated to the commando course, which showcased field training methods as well as equipment and tools used in training and qualification programs.
