Geneva: HE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labour, Sheikha Najwa bint Abdulrahman Al-Thani, held a series of meetings on Friday on the sidelines of the 114th Session of the International Labour Conference, currently taking place in Geneva, to strengthen international cooperation in labour and workforce development.
Her Excellency met with HE Undersecretary of Labour of the Republic of the Philippines, Jainal T. Rasul Jr., to review cooperation between the State of Qatar and the Republic of the Philippines in labour-sector fields and discuss ways to further enhance and expand bilateral collaboration.

The discussions highlighted the importance of continued coordination and partnership in areas of mutual interest, reflecting the strong labour relations between the two countries.
Sheikha Najwa also met with Head of the Middle East and North Africa Region at the World Economic Forum, Kelsey Goodman.
The meeting explored a range of issues of shared interest, with a particular focus on strengthening cooperation between the State of Qatar and the World Economic Forum within the framework of the Future of Jobs Program and related initiatives.
The two sides discussed opportunities to deepen collaboration in support of labour-market development, future workforce preparedness, and efforts to enhance the working environment through strategic partnerships with international organisations.
