Doha: The Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) and the General Directorate of the French National Gendarmerie held their first strategic meeting on internal security via videoconference, marking a significant step in strengthening security cooperation between the State of Qatar and the French Republic.
The meeting was convened within the framework of the fourth round of the Qatar-France Strategic Dialogue and focused on advancing bilateral collaboration in the field of internal security.
During the discussions, both sides reviewed opportunities to expand security cooperation and examined future initiatives aimed at enhancing security preparedness and operational readiness. They also explored ways to strengthen joint efforts to maintain security and stability while improving their capacity to respond effectively to emerging and evolving security challenges.
The meeting reflects the continued commitment of Qatar and France to deepening strategic partnerships and fostering closer coordination on issues of mutual security interest.
