Doha: HE Speaker of the Shura Council Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim met separately on Tuesday with Varlam Avaliani, Ambassador of Georgia to the State of Qatar, and Juha Mustonen, Ambassador of the Finland to the State of Qatar.
The meetings focused on bilateral relations between Qatar and both Georgia and Finland, along with ways to further enhance cooperation, particularly in the parliamentary sector.
During the discussions, Al Ghanim stressed the importance of strengthening coordination and expanding joint parliamentary cooperation with the Georgian and Finnish parliaments. He also highlighted the role of parliamentary friendship groups in deepening ties and supporting coordination in regional and international parliamentary forums on issues of mutual interest.
