Doha: His Highness Chairperson of Qatar Foundation, Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, attended the Qatar Foundation Schools Graduation Ceremony 2026, celebrating the achievements of 401 graduates from seven schools across the Qatar Foundation education system.
Held at the Qatar National Convention Centre, the ceremony was attended by HE Vice Chairperson of Qatar Foundation Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al-Thani, along with senior officials, educators, school leaders, and the families of graduating students.
Addressing the gathering, President of Pre-University Education at Qatar Foundation, Abir Al Khalifa, emphasized that education extends far beyond academic success. She highlighted the graduating class’s resilience, creativity, and determination, particularly in navigating a period marked by regional and global challenges.
Al Khalifa noted that recent geopolitical developments tested students in unprecedented ways, yet also showcased their adaptability, innovation, and ability to respond positively to uncertainty. She praised the graduates’ projects for tackling real-world challenges and reaffirmed Qatar Foundation’s commitment to involving young people as active partners in shaping the future of education.
Expressing pride in the accomplishments of the Class of 2026, Al Khalifa said she was confident that the graduates would continue to make meaningful contributions to their communities and the wider world.
Speaking on behalf of the graduating class, Maryam Ali Al Khalaf said true success should be measured not only by personal achievements but by the positive impact individuals make on society. Reflecting on her journey within Qatar Foundation Schools, she described her education as a transformative experience that shaped her character, academic ambitions, and professional aspirations.
She also praised Qatar Foundation and Education City for fostering an educational environment that places people at the heart of learning, encouraging graduates to pursue their passions, embrace challenges, and view obstacles as opportunities for growth.
The ceremony honored graduates from Qatar Academy Doha, Qatar Academy Al Khor, Qatar Academy Sidra, Qatar Academy for Science and Technology, Qatar Leadership Academy, Qatar Academy Wakra, and Awsaj Academy, recognizing their academic excellence and outstanding achievements.
Since its establishment, Qatar Foundation’s schools, Academic Bridge Program, and PRIME Program have graduated more than 15,000 students, reflecting the organization’s enduring commitment to advancing education, innovation, and human development in Qatar.
