Paris: The State of Qatar participated on Thursday in the fourth edition of the Vision Golfe 2026 Forum, held in Paris under the patronage of Emmanuel Macron and themed “From Cooperation to Transformation.”
The forum focused on the evolving landscape of Euro-Gulf economic relations and the opportunities emerging from deeper cooperation between the two regions. Qatar was represented at the event by Sheikh Ali bin Jassim Al-Thani, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the French Republic.
Qatar’s participation reflected the growing strategic and economic partnership between Doha and Paris, particularly at a time when global trade and investment patterns are undergoing significant transformation amid geopolitical developments and rapid changes in the energy and technology sectors.
The forum brought together senior government officials, business leaders, investors and representatives of major economic institutions from both the Gulf region and Europe to discuss avenues for strengthening economic cooperation and fostering sustainable growth.
The Qatari delegation included representatives from leading economic and strategic entities, underscoring the country’s commitment to expanding international partnerships and exploring new opportunities across key sectors.
Throughout the event, participants engaged in a series of specialized panel discussions, business meetings and networking sessions designed to enhance collaboration with French companies, identify cross-border investment opportunities and establish long-term commercial partnerships.
Vision Golfe is a key platform for dialogue between Gulf countries and France, strengthening economic ties and supporting joint initiatives in trade, investment, innovation, energy, and technology.
