Doha: HE CEO of Qatar Media Corporation (QMC), Sheikh Hamad bin Thamer Al-Thani met on Wednesday with HE Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the State of Qatar, Neerav Patel. Doha: The third round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar and the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia was held on Wednesday in Doha. HE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi chaired the Qatari side, whereas HE State Minister for Political and Economic Diplomacy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Hadera Abera Admassu chaired the the Ethiopian side. Doha: Under the patronage of HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, the University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) celebrated the graduation of the first batch of the Class of 2026 on Tuesday. During the ceremony, HE Minister of Education and Higher Education Lolwah bint Rashid bin Mohammed Al Khater honored 250 outstanding students. Doha: The Qatar Media Corporation (QMC) and Media City Qatar signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Tuesday to strengthen cooperation in content creation, digital innovation, and talent development within Qatar’s growing media sector. The agreement was signed by Director of the International Cooperation and Agreements Office at QMC Abdullah Ghanim Al Binali Al Muhannadi and CEO of Media City Qatar Hamad Omar Al Mannai. Doha: Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation, visited the 35th Doha International Book Fair at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center, touring pavilions of government entities, cultural institutions, and Arab and international publishing houses. During her visit, Her Highness personally selected several titles from the displays.
