Doha: Under the patronage and attendance of HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al-Thani, the Joaan bin Jassim Academy for Defense Studies celebrated the graduation of the 6th National Defense Course, the 12th Joint Command and Staff Course, and graduates of its master’s and doctoral programs, in addition to honoring the achievements of the Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research.

The graduation ceremony, held at the Academy’s headquarters, was attended by HE Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces Lieutenant General (Pilot) Jassim bin Mohammed Al Mannai, along with ministers, ambassadors from fraternal and friendly countries, military attachés accredited to the State of Qatar, and senior leaders and officials of the Qatari Armed Forces.

Graduates included senior-ranking officers from various branches of the Qatari Armed Forces, military and security agencies, and senior officials representing ministries and state institutions. The programs also attracted officers from several fraternal and friendly countries, reflecting the Academy’s growing regional and international role in advanced military education.

During the ceremony, outstanding graduates were recognized for their academic excellence, while attendees were presented with an overview of the Academy’s educational journey and the key stages of its training and academic programs.

The event underscored the Academy’s commitment to preparing military and civilian leaders through specialized defense education, strategic studies, and advanced research, contributing to the development of national capabilities and strengthening cooperation with partner countries in the fields of defense and security.
