Beirut, Lebanon: HE Speaker of the Parliament of the Lebanese Republic Nabih Berri met in Beirut with a joint ministerial delegation from Qatar, the United Kingdom and France to discuss the latest political and security developments in Lebanon.
The delegation included HE Dr Mariam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad, Minister of State for International Cooperation of the State of Qatar; HE Baroness Chapman of Darlington, Minister of State for International Development and Africa of the United Kingdom; and HE Eleonore Caroit, Minister Delegate for Francophonie, International Partnerships and French Nationals Abroad, attached to the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed recent developments in Lebanon and exchanged views on the country’s political and security landscape. Discussions also addressed ongoing regional and international efforts aimed at reinforcing Lebanon’s security, stability and resilience amid current challenges.
The talks further covered a range of issues of mutual interest, underscoring the continued engagement of international partners in supporting Lebanon and advancing initiatives that contribute to peace, stability and sustainable development in the country.
