Doha: Qatar Leadership Center (QLC) celebrated the graduation of its thirteenth cohort, “Qiyadat 2026,” honoring 122 graduates from the National Leadership Program and 44 graduates from the Executive Master’s in Leadership Program.

The ceremony was attended by HE Chairperson of QLC’s Board of Directors Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al-Thani, HE Vice Chairman of the Board and Managing Director Sheikh Dr. Abdulla bin Ali bin Saud Al-Thani, along with ministers, senior officials, faculty members, and graduates’ families.

In her address, HE Sheikha Al Mayassa reaffirmed that investing in people remains a strategic and long-term priority for the State of Qatar, stressing that leadership development is central to achieving the nation’s future aspirations.

She highlighted the importance of preserving national identity and values amid rapid global transformation, noting that language, authenticity, and cultural identity continue to serve as key pillars guiding Qatar’s vision for the future despite accelerating modernization and technological advancement.

Her Excellency urged graduates to embrace leadership as a responsibility rather than a position, encouraging them to serve as models of integrity and competence while making meaningful contributions in every role they undertake, with Qatar always remaining the ultimate benchmark.

QLC General Manager Abdulla Mohammed Khalifa Albinali expressed pride in the achievements of the new cohort following a year of intensive learning and development aligned with leading international standards.

Albinali said the programs focused on strengthening competencies, advancing strategic thinking, and providing international educational experiences that broadened participants’ professional and intellectual horizons while reinforcing leadership capabilities.

He noted that these experiences enabled graduates to gain valuable knowledge and exchange best practices, further enhancing their readiness to navigate future challenges.

Albinali called on graduates to continue building on the expertise they acquired to become role models in giving, pioneers in innovation, and ambassadors of national values across key sectors in the country.

He added that the graduation reflects the growing need for agile leadership capable of adapting to global changes, emphasizing that graduates will shoulder significant responsibilities in supporting Qatar’s development journey through strategic vision and leadership excellence.

Established in 2008, Qatar Leadership Center serves as a national platform dedicated to developing future leaders through partnerships with leading international universities and institutions, contributing to strengthening Qatar’s position on the global stage.
