Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met on Thursday with HE Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations (UN), Amina J. Mohammed, who is visiting the country. During the meeting, they discussed cooperation relations between the State of Qatar and the United Nations and ways to enhance and develop them. Doha: A social protection center in Doha has launched a community awareness campaign aimed at protecting children from violence, in coordination with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.  The Protection and Social Rehabilitation Center (Aman), part of the Qatar Foundation for Social Work, said the initiative targets parents and staff in public and private schools and kindergartens, including social and psychological specialists, to raise awareness about violence and bullying. Doha: Qatar’s Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) has concluded a training program aimed at qualifying volunteers in urban search and rescue, in cooperation with the Qatar Volunteer Center under the Ministry of Culture.
