Berlin: Advisor to the Prime Minister and Official Spokesperson for Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Majid bin Mohammed Al Ansari, participated in a dialogue session in Berlin on Tuesday, highlighting Qatar’s mediation efforts and its role in addressing regional and international crises through diplomacy and constructive engagement.
The session, organized by Arabic Cultural House (Al-Diwan), brought together participants to discuss current regional challenges, geopolitical developments, and their implications for international peace and security.
During his remarks, Dr. Al Ansari reviewed key regional and global issues, emphasizing Qatar’s commitment to mediation and conflict resolution as part of its broader diplomatic approach. He outlined the country’s ongoing efforts to facilitate dialogue and promote peaceful solutions to international crises.
The discussion also addressed intra-Gulf relations, with Dr. Al Ansari stressing the importance of strengthening cooperation and enhancing joint coordination among Gulf countries, particularly in the field of security, to effectively respond to emerging regional challenges.
Highlighting strategic concerns related to energy and water security, Dr. Al Ansari pointed to the significance of vital maritime routes such as the Strait of Hormuz, noting their critical role in maintaining regional and global stability.
Concluding his remarks, Dr. Al Ansari reaffirmed that dialogue and diplomacy remain the most effective tools for reducing tensions, building trust, and creating opportunities for sustainable and peaceful resolutions to conflicts.
