Jakarta: HE Director of the Policy and Planning Department at Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Khalid bin Fahad Al Khater, held a series of high-level meetings in Jakarta on Thursday as part of preparations for the upcoming Qatar-Indonesia Strategic Dialogue.
Dr. Al Khater met separately with Indonesia’s Deputy Foreign Ministers, Arrmanatha Christiawan Nasir and Muhammad Anis Matta, as well as Santo Darmosumarto, Director-General for Asia Pacific and African Affairs at Indonesia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Muhammad Takdir, Head of the Foreign Policy Strategy Agency.
The discussions focused on the strong and growing relations between Qatar and Indonesia, exploring avenues to further enhance cooperation across a wide range of sectors in line with the shared interests of both nations and their commitment to deepening bilateral partnership.
The meetings also reviewed preparations for the Qatar-Indonesia Strategic Dialogue, highlighting its role as an important platform for strengthening cooperation, coordination, and consultation on key regional and international developments, while fostering closer collaboration between the two countries on issues of mutual concern.
