Geneva: HE Minister of Labor Dr. Ali bin Samikh Al Marri held a series of bilateral meetings with several labor ministers on the sidelines of the 114th International Labour Conference, organized by the International Labour Organization in Geneva, Switzerland.
During separate meetings, HE the Minister met with Mohammad Haidar, Minister of Labor of the Lebanese Republic; Mutasim Ahmed Saleh Adam, Minister of Human Resources and Social Welfare of the Republic of Sudan; Hind Kabawat, Minister of Social Affairs and Labor of the Syrian Arab Republic; Monica Recalde de Giacomi, Minister of Labor, Employment and Social Security of the Republic of Paraguay; and Tseliso Seth Levalo Mokhosi, Minister of Labor and Employment of the Kingdom of Lesotho.
The meetings reviewed bilateral relations in labor-sector fields and explored opportunities to enhance cooperation, exchange expertise, and further develop partnerships in areas of mutual interest.
The discussions underscored Qatar’s commitment to strengthening international collaboration on labor issues and fostering closer ties with partner countries through dialogue and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
