Brussels: The State of Qatar participated in the 27th GCC-EU Joint Council and Ministerial Meeting held in Brussels on Tuesday, with the attendance of delegations from GCC member states, the GCC General Secretariat, and officials from the European Union.
The State of Qatar was represented at the meeting by HE Director of the Policy and Planning Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Khalid bin Fahad Al Khater.
Discussions focused on the latest regional and international developments, including Iranian attacks targeting GCC countries, maritime security in the Strait of Hormuz and the Red Sea, as well as the situations in Yemen, Iraq, and Lebanon.
The meeting also exchanged views on developments in the Gaza Strip, efforts to advance the two-state solution, and the latest updates regarding Syria and Ukraine.
