Doha: H.E. Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, President of the Qatar Olympic Committee, received H.E. Shri Vipul, Ambassador of the Republic of India to the State of Qatar, at his office on Monday.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the strong and longstanding bilateral relations between Qatar and India and discussed ways to further strengthen cooperation in the sports sector. They also explored opportunities to expand partnerships and exchange expertise across various sporting fields, with a particular focus on advancing collaboration within the Olympic Movement.
The discussions highlighted the shared commitment of both countries to promoting sports development, fostering athletic excellence, and enhancing institutional cooperation through joint initiatives and knowledge-sharing programs.
