Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani attended on Thursday the graduation ceremony of the 10th cohort of master’s students at the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies, alongside several ministers, senior officials, and academic leaders.

Held at Sheraton Grand Doha Resort & Convention Hotel, the ceremony celebrated the graduation of 246 students representing 32 nationalities. The graduating class included 163 students from the School of Social Sciences and Humanities and 83 from the School of Economics, Administration and Public Policy.

Among the graduates were 73 Qatari nationals, while 100 students received support through the Qatar Scholarship Program for International Students funded by the Qatar Fund for Development.

Certificates were presented by HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, HE Vice Chairman of the Institute’s Board of Trustees Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Ali bin Saud Al-Thani, President of the Doha Institute Dr. Abdelwahab El-Affendi, Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Amal Ghazal, and the deans of the institute’s schools.

HE Director of the Diplomatic Institute at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Abdulaziz Al Horr also participated in awarding certificates to graduates of the Executive Master’s Program in Diplomatic Studies and International Cooperation, offered jointly by the Doha Institute and the Diplomatic Institute.

With the graduation of its 10th cohort, the institute has now produced 1,886 graduates since its establishment. Many alumni have continued their academic journeys at leading international universities, while others have taken on professional, academic, and research roles across local, regional, and global institutions.

The institute currently offers 20 internationally accredited master’s programs and eight doctoral programs through its two schools: the School of Social Sciences and Humanities and the School of Economics, Administration and Public Policy.
