Doha: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE), represented by the Private Education Affairs Sector, concluded the second edition of the Prophet’s Biography Competition for private schools in cooperation with Eadad International Academy, with the participation of 200 male and female students from 97 private schools across various educational levels.
The closing ceremony was attended by HE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education Dr. Ibrahim bin Saleh Al Nuaimi, alongside educational leaders, school representatives, and students.
During the ceremony honoring the winning schools and teams, Assistant Undersecretary for Private Education Affairs Omar Abdulaziz Al Nuaimi highlighted the importance of teaching students the noble biography of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), describing it as a comprehensive guide for life and a practical framework for addressing modern-day challenges.
He expressed hope that the values embodied in the Prophet’s Seerah, including honesty, mercy, patience, and good conduct, would become part of students’ daily behavior and interactions within society.
The competition aimed to strengthen Islamic values through engaging educational approaches that combine learning, creativity, and constructive competition. It also encouraged students to deepen their understanding of significant events in the Prophet’s life, including Al-Isra and Al-Mi’raj, the Conquest of Mecca, and key historical battles, while reflecting on lessons from his leadership and conduct during times of peace and conflict.
